We fully entrust you with these responsibilities:
- Responsible for coding, designing, and modifying the visual elements of websites/applications to streamline the way users see and interact.
- Bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation by translating UI/UX design into actual code.
- Apply critical thinking and problem solving to identify, analyze, and resolve the root cause of front-end issues.
- Ensure a completely responsive website/application that displays properly across all browsers and devices.
- Research user experience to the fullest extent, design seamless user flow to provide a meaningful, pleasant, and relevant adventure that drives product usage and user engagement.
- Maintain the balance between aesthetics and usability that allow users to accomplish their goals in a fun and intuitive way.
- Research and identify the next big trend in front-end technologies and tools to gauge the business values that they will bring to the table.
- Assess the feasibility of your research and areas of improvement and share the findings with your teammates.
- Leverage best coding practices and design standards, keep deliverables engaging, accessible, and on point with brand identity throughout the entire products’ interface.
- Optimize website or application’s speed and performance.
- Implement website/application maintenance or enhancements when necessary.
your qualifications and skills
- Demonstrated skills on adopting and implementing HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Bootstrap, LESS, Javascript (JQuery), etc.
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, responsive/adaptive design, and UI/UX design.
- Proven track record in web programming skills.
- Experienced in one of the most relevant front-end frameworks (React, Angular, VueJS, etc.)
- Able to write modular, composable code for flexibility, sharing, and re-use.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to putting the user first.
- Proficient in using version control software.
- Good verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Continuous learner who learns new technologies and techniques independently.
- Adept problem solver, able to break down issues to isolate and identify root causes.
BONUS POINTS
- Experience with content management systems (WordPress, etc.)
- Knowledge of Typescript is nice to have.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience in software companies.
- At least 2+ years of proven experience in Front-End Software Engineer position.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
